My participation in the sleep out is grounded in the belief that all human beings are created in the image of God and that respecting the dignity of each person is foundational to a just and moral society. We are one human family. I wish to participate in this sleep out as one way to promote a culture of solidarity and oneness, and to strengthen my own social bonds and connection in the community by learning from the stories and experiences of others.
