On Friday, March 24th, I’m going to spend the night sleeping on the street near the Houston campus of Covenant House, an international organization that works to assist young adults who are homeless. Covenant House helps youth to not only find stability in their lives, but provides them with a loving environment that will foster growth and provide them with the skills to become successful once they leave. Covenant House helps makes these individuals productive, successful members of society and equips them with the tools needed to reach their full potential. I am looking forward to spending the night listening to the moving stories of young adults who came to Covenant House because they felt that it was their last resort to find stability, or just needed a roof over their heads for a short period of time.
Please consider joining me in working to curb youth homelessness and donating to a positively life-altering cause.
