Help me help homeless youth

Hey Guys, this is Wil Reynolds. You guys know, we all walk by homeless people and we always have that feeling of should I help, or should I not? Well I'm hoping today that I can help make that decision a little easier for you.

I am sleeping out on November 15 so that we can have an impact on the homeless problem with our youth in Philly. It will be dark. It will be COLD (I don't do well in the cold). But for one night, I can give up the comforts of home knowing it can bring warmth and hope to young people who need it most. (expect a lot of tweeting / facebook updates) :)

I don't know if you realize this but at 17 years old, the government is there to try to assist homeless youth, but have you ever wondered what happens on their 18th birthday? They are on their own for the most part and the covenant house helps to fill that gap. Think about it yourself, on your 18th birthday did you suddenly mature and have your life in order? Probably not, so why should these ids be any different?

By participating in this event I am doing my small part to make sure the doors stay open for all who need them. It is with sincere pride that I take on this challenge alongside my fellow business leaders.

Anything you can do to help me in this effort would be greatly appreciated.
