On November 15, 2012, Sleep Outside, So Homeless Youth Don't Have To...
For one night, business leaders and top corporate executives in conjunction with Covenant House sites across the country will sleep out on the street of over a dozen major cities in solidarity with countless homeless young people to let them know they are not alone... while letting others know that together, we can make a difference.
Covenant House Texas (CHT) opened its doors in 1983 and today is still the only nonprofit service provider in the state to offer homeless, runaway and abandoned youth a sanctuary and the support and services they need to help them become the person God intended. The front door at CHT is the first stop on the road to a new life for kids in need - consider joining us for our "Sleep Out: Texas Executives" event to be a part of that transformation.
In order to bring greater awareness to the struggles faced by homeless and at-risk youth, we're asking our friends and peers in the business community to join us on the evening of Thursday, November 15th during our Candlelight Vigil for a sleep out on the grounds of the CHT campus to experience the reality of living on the streets, if just for one night.
