SLEEP ON THE STREET FOR ONE NIGHT, SO HOMELESS KIDS DON’T EVER HAVE TO.
1 in 45 kids in America will face homeless this year. Be one of the other 44 who can help.
Covenant House exists to provide these young people with safe shelter and wrap-around social services including education and job training so they can move forward to an adulthood free of violence, poverty, and the threat of homelessness.
STUDENTS STEP OUT OF THE CLASSROOM AND INTO THE STREETS.
Start a Sleep Out: Student Edition to immerse yourself and your peers in some of the problems that homeless teens face every day and to be part of the solution to these problems.
Sleep Out: Student Edition events can be held anywhere in the world. Covenant House doesn’t dictate dates or times, rather, we follow the lead of middle school, high school, and college students across the country who take on the challenge of planning a Sleep Out with their classmates on their school grounds, with a civic club or faith group at a community center, as members of a sports team on a field, or with a group of like-minded friends in their own backyard.
These students fundraise for Covenant House to keep the lights on and the doors open for all of the kids who need help. Then, they spend one night sleeping outside in solidarity with the homeless kids they are helping.
Sleep Out for one night so a homeless kid can have a better life.
